Hi, I’m Meta!

I am a Colorado native but call the world my home.  Travel and adventure are my passions outside of work because I love to see new places and experience diverse cultures. I have always marched to the beat of my own drum and the freedom this career affords me is such a blessing. 

I am a third generation hair stylist so you could say it’s in my blood.  I have worked in and around the Boulder area for over 25 years, but I draw inspiration from all over the world.  I also have an extensive background in care and support for adults with developmental disabilities as well as several other certifications and training in various fields.  I have studied Herbalism, Ayurveda, Nutrition, Nervous system healing, and various other alternative healing modalities.  

I am an artist first and foremost and see hair as one of my many mediums for that creative outlet.  This industry is always changing so continuing my education is very important for both myself and my clients.  Even in my spare time I will seek out educational videos and online classes.  My desire and passion for learning doesn’t stop at hair.  I am fascinated with linguistics and I am currently learning Arabic as well as brushing up on my Spanish and Hindi.

I believe in a holistic approach to hair and body care because everything is connected.  We can’t have a disconnect between our mind, body, or spirit otherwise nothing works in sync with each other and balance is nearly impossible.

I strive to create a safe haven and comfortable space for every person that sits in my chair.  I provide both hair and healing services in a warm, relaxed, plant filled studio. If you're looking for an edgy new haircut, low maintenance hair color, or some chakra balancing I'm your girl.

In my salon I try my best to use natural and organic products when I can. Producing fewer toxins and less waste is my goal while also incorporating a holistic approach to hair and body.  If it’s a cup of tea you're needing, an ear to listen, or even just some peace and quiet I hope that you will find that in my cozy little studio.
